UCA / YVA Alumni Weekend
October 4-6, 2013
Upper Columbia Academy welcomes all former students and staff, their families and friends, to join us for Alumni Homecoming October 4-6, 2013. Plans are already in motion for a wonderful weekend of activities. Honored classes this year are: ’33 ’43, ’53, ’63, ’73, ’83, ’88, ’93, and ’03. (Reserved seating supplied for these classes on Sabbath.) No pre-registration is required. If additional classes ending in “8″ would like to plan a half decade reunion, please contact the alumni office! (509-245-3692).
Here’s the Alumni Homecoming schedule at a glance:
Friday, October 4
UCA Foundation Golf Tournament 8am – includes lunch and awards ceremony.  Each honor class is encouraged to get at least one foursome together to play. You may register at the Foundation web site closer to the date.
Supper available in the cafeteria 5:00 pm
Homecoming Registration opens in the gym at 6:00 pm with a Welcome Back Reception
Alumni Sundown Vespers 7:30 pm on campus in the gym.
Sabbath, October 5
Registration re-opens at 9 am
Worship services begin at 10 am – gym
Children’s Sabbath schools available at the UCA Church
Buffet Lunch served from 12:45 – 2:00 in the gym. Not a potluck and no charge, but donations are appreciated
Honor Class meetings at 2:30pm in assigned rooms around campus
Honor Class parties are organized by individual classes and are not coordinated by the alumni office. The Alumni office is willing to provide a class list to event coordinators to assist with contacting classmates.
Sunday, October 6
Peach Fun Run begins at 8:00 am.
To register for the Friday morning golf tournament and /or the Sunday morning 5K Olin J. Peach Fun Run and Pancake breakfast, please go to the UCA Foundation web site at www.ucafoundation.org.
Parking for 20 RV’s is available on a first come, first serve basis in our new RV park. The park is located beside the Industrial Technology building, and the charge is $15 per night. Should there be overflow, parking in the UCA church parking lot will be made available.
