New Photos: Tech Fair & Recruiting
November 22, 2009
A new batch of photos has been uploaded to ucaa.org. These photos feature this year’s Technology Fair & recruiting. The tech fair is an event when students from Jr. high & grade schools storm the UCA campus to learn about woodworking, sewing, photography, welding, robotics, video-graphy, and many other topics.
Scott North has also updated the recruiting photos from his travels. Future UCA alumni are pictured in this gallery.

Now everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving break. At this time of year I would encourage you to reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for. Here are a few things that I’m thankful for:
- This great school from which I was blessed to have graduated from.
- Our great staff, what a great team with diverse strengths to work with.
- Awesome students, I can’t imagine another school having better (thanks for your part in that J).
- A great church, our school would not be near what it is, without the Adventist system we have.
- Our soon returning Savior, many of us have experienced pain and/or death in our families this past year, how would we make it without the knowledge that we will see our loved ones again soon.
God bless,
Troy Patzer – Principal

Dear UCA Family,
Welcome to the extended family of our students who are receiving our weekly email for the first time. We hope this will help you feel a part of our campus. If you know someone that would like to receive this email, please send us their address and we will be happy to add them to our list.
Today we had our bi-annual Tech Fair. Seventeen conference schools were represented by nearly 200 students including 15 home-school students. They enjoyed everything from a flight simulator to geo-caching. There were 12 different options for them to choose from.

Greetings!
The band had a great trip to Lake City Junior Academy in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Mountain View Elementary School in Missoula, Montana last weekend. I’ve received a glowing report on the wonderful performance and how well-behaved our students were. That’s credit to you parents, thanks for sending us such great kids! The Choraliers are leaving tomorrow afternoon to perform in Kettle Falls and Colville.
If you missed this email last week, we have incorporated some Parent Weekend activities into the UCC Family Fellowship weekend November 13 – 15. Many of you have already had opportunity to correspond with your son or daughter’s teachers, but if you haven’t and would like to, please contact Florence Lacey for scheduling: florence.lacey@ucaa.org or 509-245-3627. The guys’ dorm is gearing up for Amateur Hour on Saturday night. There will also be football games on Sunday. We look forward to seeing you!
