Video: A Blast From The Past

Is the past really the way we remember it? Were our glasses that shape? Was our hair that style? Did we ever look that young? A new video on ucaa.org seems to confirm some suspicions about the past.
This video was discovered (below) as part of UCA’s ongoing effort to digitize yearbooks and other historical items. The original purpose for the video was to function as a promotional piece for school recruitment. The video is primitive by today’s production standards & somewhat comical because of plot-lines and various fashion statements. However, the basics of what make UCA a great school were the same then as they are now.
It is nice to see that the important parts of UCA don’t change.

Dear UCA Family,
It’s nice to hear the students voices in the halls again. We hope everyone enjoyed a great Christmas break. The speakers chosen by the student body for the Student Week of Prayer have just left for their retreat. Please remember them in your prayers.

PARENTS OF SENIORS – Monday, January 18 seniors will be ordering announcements, caps, and gowns. Seniors will be need to pay for their order at that time.
CALENDAR CHANGES
- ASB Banquet originally scheduled for Sunday, January 31 has been moved to Sunday, February 21.
- Blood Drive originally scheduled for Thursday, April 1 has been moved to Thursday, April 29.

Updates: Spiritual Life Blog, New Links, & Photos

The UCA church has launched an exciting new project. The church has started a Spiritual Life Blog which Students of UCA will be posting their thoughts on scripture, God, and the spiritual life. The link to the Spiritual life Blog is found on UCAA.org under “Life at UCA”. Click this link to visit it directly.
The UCA Elementary school has a new web presence. Many students of UCA have come from UCAES. Visit the UCAES website.
Over 100 new photos are on UCAA.org. Photos of Basketball and the Christmas at the Fox Concert are now online.

The Latest Website Updates

Some changes and additions have come to the UCAA.org website.
- There is a new department phone/fax list online
- The Recreational Skiing information for 2009-2010 is online.
- The National Honors Membership Requirements are also online.
In addition to these three new additions, the photo galleries are slowly growing as I backlog the UCA photos from previous school years. Keep a close eye on the galleries as they grow over the next few weeks.
