This Week at UCA – April 29-May 3, 2012
Dear UCA Family,
The last home leave of the year has begun. Let’s continue to encourage our students to persevere and finish strong.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Advanced Biology Field Trip has been using the Walla Walla University Rosario Beach Marine Laboratory this week. They have had side trips to Padilla Bay Mud Flats, the San Juan Island Whale Museum and Eagle Cove. This was a fantastic opportunity for the 62 UCA students and may confirm the desire for some to be marine biologists.
BLOOD DRIVE
UCA will be having a blood drive on Tuesday, May 1, from 2-5 p.m. Students who are 16-17 years old may participate with a signed permission form from their parents. The form is on our website. Students 18 years old or older will not need a permission slip. All blood types are needed. If you have questions, please contact Joe Hess at 245-3680.
HOME-LEAVE BUS
The schedule is attached. Please call the driver’s cell phone if your plans change.
The This Week at UCA and menu are attached and on our website, www.ucaa.org.
