This Week at UCA – May 14-20

Dear UCA Family,

We have been blessed with wonderful weather recently which is making our campus more and more beautiful for our end-of-the-year programs and graduation.

Please read the important library and textbook return notice below. When students are dropping of their books we encourage them to stay in the library until they receive the all clear printout from Mrs. North.

DID YOU KNOW… Recently 13 English and 10 Calculus students took the College Board AP test. Doing well on this test is a real boost to their college program.  Well done students!

The annual Choral Concert in Spokane will be at the Central United Methodist Church at 518 West 3rd Street at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 28. The church does have air conditioning, unfortunately we didn’t find that out until after the concert last year.

CORRECTION… Memorial Day is May 31 not May 24 as listed on our calendar.

Please Pray For

  • Our students and staff as they finish  this year
  • Our students’ summer work opportunities
  • Our seniors as they plan for the future
  • Cheney Evangelistic Seminar speakers and guests
  • The continual outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our campus

I have had the privilege of attending the evangelistic seminar at the Cheney Seventh-day Adventist church the last two weeks. I’m looking forward to this final weekend. What a blessing to attend such an event. Not only to hear again the great Bible truth that our church believes, but to hear our students present it. How awesome! They are doing incredibly well, we might have some future teachers/pastors developing.

God bless,

Troy Patzer – Principal
