Financial and Wealth gifts help keep UCA operating & enhance the experience of the students at UCA. There are many ways to give a gift to UCA. A complete list of opportunities & ways to give is below:
Dining Commons and Water Tower Plaza
UCA is gearing up for its first capital campaign in 16 years. The project at hand is a new Dining Commons connected to a wonderful open plaza near the center of the campus. Our current cafeteria has been deemed to be on a flood plain which means we cannot insure remodels or changes made after a flooding incident – at least 3 in the last 20 years. So, we’re kind of “stuck in the mud.”
Our goal is $3,000,050. In the last 6 months, during a silent fund raising campaign,the Lord has blessed us with a little over $2,100,000!
We have a special matching grant for young professionals, and one for young alumni in business. With your help, the Dining commons can be a reality within 12 months of the time we “dig in.” You may donate by check, online here at the UCA web site. Donations of stocks, bonds, property or vehicles are also welcomed.

The Olin J Peach Endowed Scholarship Fund is a professionally managed sub fund handled by the UCA Foundation, therefore all donations are transfered to them. Because this is an endowment, the principal is professionally invested, and the interest from that investment will be donated to UCA on an annual basis, to provide a scholarship for a UCA student.
The criteria:
The recipient will be a returning UCA student chosen by UCA staff
Outstanding work ethic is of highest priority for the Peach Scholarship
Financial need will be considered
Academic effort and good citizenship is essential

Alumni Annual Fund:
The Annual Fund is the depository of unrestricted gifts to the school, funding projects of current need on campus, approved by Administration and the Master Plan committee. Examples of past projects are: Band room expansion, remodeling the Power House, dorm bathroom remodels, new buses, and etc., which facilitate a good working program for our students at UCA. Upcoming projects will include a bus barn and more dorm and bathroom remodels.
Principal’s Fund:
This fund is a way to show special appreciation to our campus faculty for the untold hours of time and energy that they pour into our young people. This is a way to provide the means to pay for a class they wish they could afford, a particular piece of equipment they would like to integrate into their teaching, or maybe just a gift card to go out to dinner, to re-group. This is a special way to say “Thank You – you are valued.” A most worthy cause.
Dorm Funds:
- Additional funds are needed to remodel dorm rooms and bathrooms. Adopt a room or an entire hall!
Motor Pool:
School vehicles are needed for transporting students on class field trips, home leaves, ensemble tours, airport drop off and pick up, doctors appointments and town trips for supplies.
- Needed: Airporter type 22-28 passenger bus
- Needed: Van – mini or full size
- Needed: Car in good running condition (front wheel or AWD) – ours is on life support!
- Needed: 16’ enclosed trailer
Single Parent Scholarship Fund:
This fund is for donors who wish to aid one parent homes in their struggle to give their children an Adventist education. Established by the parents of an Alumnus who felt impressed to do something for the “widows and orphans”, this fund is in growing need as we see more and more students coming from this kind of home. Many could not be here at all, were it not for this scholarship.
Worthy Student Fund:
$180,000+ is needed every year, in addition to special scholarship and matching funds! Annual support or monthly gifts are urgently needed. Job losses have affected the parents of our students, creating some very difficult situations. If you have the ability to help in any way… in any amount… we need you!
The Sabbath Project:
To be more intentional about making Sabbath a special day, the faculty is looking for ways to remind students of the special blessings that come to us on this day. We appreciate those who fund our efforts to create special table settings for meals, and funds for projects the students can do.
Needed Items:
Used or new bicycles that students could check out for Sabbath afternoon rides / new or gently used canoes that could be used on a weekend into nature. Especially for students who are too far from home to go for home leave, this equipment would provide the means for a much appreciated get away. There are faculty who are willing to take groups out for this kind of an outing.
Gifts in Kind:
UCA is happy to receive antiques, collectibles, automobiles/trucks, sports vehicles, time shares, property, stocks & bonds, etc. All gifts to UCA are tax deductible.
Give while you can still get a tax deduction… the winds of change are blowing!
